Cinema visit with special guest

Mr. Day and Mr. Schmauss led a group of almost 60 outstanding Dunraven students to see an advance screening of the new Karate Kid film, starring Jackie Chan and Jaden Smith (aka Will Smith's son).  The visit was a reward for Year 7 students who had especially outstanding progress reports and Year 8 students with perfect attendance and/or punctuality.  We arrived at the cinema, got our popcorn and sat down for the film when a special guest arrived: none other than 'the fresh prince' himself, Will Smith!  He talked and Joked with the students about watching his son on the big screen and travelling to China for the filming.  After the film, we had a Q and A with the director, walked to Trafalgar Square for a picnic lunch and then caught the bus home.  An excellent day with outstanding students.
