A Level Results 2026

We are very proud of our Year 13 students as they celebrate their examination results today. 

Thursday 13 August was a very happy day with many stories of individual success. Whilst it always seems unfair to single out individuals, we would like to highlight students such as Benjy, Max, Ivy and Dylan all of whom achieved multiple A* grades. We must also mention students such as Finn, Michal, Catrin, Amayah, Mariana and Kallel all of whom must be praised for coupling very impressive results with incredible progress. The list goes on and we are conscious that there are many names who deserve a mention. 

Our students' thoughts will start to turn to their plans in September. Overwhelmingly this means taking on the challenge of university. Dunraven student success can perhaps best be felt in their seriously impressive destinations. We are delighted to see Dunraven students progress to a range of highly competitive institutions, which this year includes Manchester University, The London School of Economics, Kings College London, UCL, The University of Bristol, The University of Sussex, The University of Nottingham, The University of Exeter, The University of Sheffield and The University of Oxford. 

The Director of Sixth, Mr Noble-Smith said, ‘Well done to Year 13. You have worked really hard and can look forward to your next steps now. We must say thank you as well to families at home who know better than anyone how challenging A-Level studies can be and who have been there every step of the way.’

Within these results there are many success stories for subjects such as Geography, History, Spanish, Further Maths and the Extended Project who had high proportions of students achieving the very highest grades. Similar success can be found around the school with subjects such as Maths, Business, Economics, Drama, Media Studies and Graphics all achieving strong results amongst a good backdrop from all. We are very grateful to our expert teachers across the curriculum who have provided support for Year 13 over the last two years.

We wish our outgoing Year 13 nothing but happiness and every success as they embark on the next part of their journey. We toast their academic achievements but also the way in which they applied themselves to culture, performance, politics, the community and social action. While we are sad they are leaving, we look forward to hearing about the details of those bright futures that lie ahead for them.
